One of the most challenging aspects in advancing the use of evidence-based programs is engaging community stakeholders, helping them to identify their community’s needs, and the programs that will best meet those needs. For 20 years Communities That Care (CTC), a Blueprints Promising Program, has been the go-to program for accomplishing these goals. Dr. David Hawkins, one of the developers of CTC, will provide an overview of CTC and describe how it has been developed, utilized and evaluated over time. Dr. Brian Bumbarger, Director of the EPISCenter in Pennsylvania, will discuss the statewide scale up of CTC in Pennsylvania, where the model has been introduced in over 100 communities. Register here!
