The city of Malmö, Sweden held its first Swedish language training for workshop leaders who will deliver Guiding Good Choices to the citizens of Malmö. Seven new workshop leaders were certified by Malmö Stad’s Guiding Good Choices training team of Eva-Lotta Ahlkvist Björk, Stephanie Löfgren, and Jonas Pantelidis. The Center for CTC’s Dalene Beaulieu participated virtually to provide support. Malmö has previously piloted Guiding Good Choices in English, and is working on a set of translated materials to be used in a city-wide implementation effort. Malmö has also been implementing Communities That Care in several neighborhoods, and plans to involve the local CTC coalitions in recruitment and evaluation of the Guiding Good Choices program in their areas.
